Thanks be to God for the privilege to worship Him on the Lord’s Day! We began the morning with rain, ended the service with snow, continued with business and fellowship with a bitter cold! But the spirit of our people was wonderful!
Some days are more lovely than others, but it is good today to enjoy some sunshine with temps below freezing! Well, this is Tennessee!
We should be praying for the people in Lee County, Alabama in the loss of quite a few from the tornado which moved through their area. We know a little about that here in West Tennessee, but we never get used to the loss of life than can occur. Pray for them!
Our Visitation training is Tuesday of this week and Tuesday of next week. These are repeat sessions, so if you miss the first one on the fifth, come on the twelfth. Both sessions will be alike.
In April, we will launch Outreach Ministry with the first and third Tuesdays as our starting point. On Saturday, April 13, we will distribute information and gifts to the community inviting the households to attend our Easter Sunday Worship service! There will be other events for children!
Pray for our national and world leaders. The planet seems to be in great turmoil. People simply need the Lord. The teachings of Jesus hold all that anyone could need to make for a life that is at peace and fulfilled.
This Wednesday we will be reviewing the prophet Nahum! Join us for this study!
Be in prayer for Betty Perkins at Bells Nursing Home and Clyde Antwine at General Hospital in Jackson.
There are a lot of things happening in March, including the Lord’s Supper on March 17. Also, there are Children’s activities!
It’s hard to believe, but it’s 2019! “Nothing Routine in Twenty Nineteen!”
I remain grateful to serve with you!
