Shifting gears is exciting! The expectation for shifting gears is twofold: gaining speed and gaining momentum!

Our maintenance ministry of the past year is moving into second gear, which is going to require a considerable increase in energy and commitment! I want to ask you to join me in this increase of effort.

Pray about your part in participating in Visitation ministry, evangelism ministry, and actively serving in the Sunday School ministry of the Church.

(Some of the following you read in last week’s newsletter.) First, we will begin a more intentional internal ministry. Visitation / outreach / evangelism ministries are going to be prioritized by the Ministry Staff and the Deacon Body. You will hear more about this as we move forward. The programs we will utilize are excellent choices for Bells FBC!

Some of our members are already trained in the use of these ministries and we will see an increase in people reached as a result!            Second, we will give attention to an external emphasis in ministry to reach prospects for the people in our natural ministry area. Many of you have family, friends, neighbors, students, and co-workers who are not connected to the Bells family! That will also change as we have a broader vision that the Lord will impress on our  hearts moving forward!

We are back on schedule with our Wednesday services. We seem to be missing children. Our children’s team are prepared and ready for your children. Let us know at the office or call one of our workers if your child needs transportation to the church. We have a team ready to do this as well!

Thank you for your continued prayerful support for me on my shoulder surgery. I’m doing better and enjoyed being back in the pulpit this past Sunday. Our observance of the Lord’s Supper was very meaningful!

Our business meeting was a blessing, noting that we are participating in sending Hinton Climer with a team of 33 to Puerto Rico on a building project!

It’s hard to believe, but it’s 2019! “Nothing Routine in Twenty Nineteen!”

I remain grateful to serve with you!
