The character of a congregation is most clearly displayed when the church steps up to its evangelistic responsibilities. This is what occurred on Saturday morning! More than 20 of our church family gathered to distribute information and appreciation packets to almost 400 homes! Thank you, Tonya, for your expert leadership in getting together all the maps, bags, and things that went into the packet! Thanks to all who put these into the packets and and bags for this big day!
Many thanks to those who spent many hours of preparation to move from ideas to execution! Women’s Ministry and Men’s Ministry took tremendous initiative in bringing this about. Believe me when I share with you that this blesses a Pastor’s heart to see the people of God serve the community as the people of God should!
There are many ways to bless those around us who need Jesus. This was certainly one of them. Thank you to each one who helped get the Word out to Bells!
Sunday, 23 of our children and several parents were provided a lunch and a trip to the Baird home for an Easter Egg Hunt! This, again, is a ministry by which our fellowship is touching lives with the Gospel! Thanks Bro. Zac for providing a devotion with the kids!
It never ceases to amaze me how creative our people are in creating ministry opportunities. The Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts in many ways and leads us to provide a witness to the world of His wonderful Love! The Son of God gave Himself freely and unreservedly to provide the gift of Eternal Life to all who would believe. I hope we find every opportunity to share that gift with Bells, Tennessee!
Our worship honored our Lord Sunday! The music, choir special, Lord’s Supper Observance, all blessed my heart!
