Sunday morning, I should have announced the after-church meeting for our ‘Back to Church Sunday’, an effort to call back our church family that has been out for a while. Consequently, only a handful were there. We’re going to try a different approach. Each adult Sunday School Class is asked to provide 2 individuals who will make calls or visits to any number of people on a list that is being made of those who have not attended in the past several months or longer. The efforts of our church to show that we love one another is worth it! On Sunday, September 9th we will have an after morning worship fellowship to share with our ‘Back to Church’ families. We need to bring potluck, the church will provide drinks, and our men will serve and clean up.
This Sunday, men, we will do our planning in our Missions Meeting. Please come and offer your part in helping make this a good day!
Continue to be prayerful for your Pastor Search Committee! They are making strides in finding God’s man for Bells FBC! Our part as a fellowship is to support them and pray for them as they diligently seek to find a new Senior Pastor.
Congratulations to our newly elected officials for Crockett County! Some of these are in our church and we want to be faithful to pray for them as they seek to honor the Lord and serve the community!!
