Sunday had an immense blessing for this pastor. We celebrated the completion of a very fine Vacation Bible School in which at least nine children said they professed faith in Jesus Christ as Savior!
We had over 100 participants in Bible School which was a tremendous turnout! Thanks to the first rate leadership, teaching staff, and support staff which led in our VBS! Many parents and grandparents came to the Ice Cream Fellowship on Thursday evening! Eternity will give the wonderful results in souls and spiritual impact.
I gained a greater appreciation for our membership and staff from this VBS. Our church has a real heart for children! This came through so clearly!
Sunday morning was an especially great blessing for our family due to our son Zachary Wayne, (Natiley’s brother!!!), coming to worship with us and to sing with his dad! This truly filled my heart! Thanks Bret for giving us this time for ministry. Thank you, Benjamin, for playing without a rehearsal!! Thank you, Bro. Zachary for being a yielded vessel to the glory of the Lord. Bro. Zachary serves as Worship Pastor of Tusculum Baptist Church, Tusculum, TN and is representing his church this week at the Southern Baptist Convention in Dallas.
Sunday night we had a very engaging business meeting in which our fellowship acknowledged the hand of the Lord in bringing Bro. Zac Hannaford to minister with our students. As a result of this, we will announce details Sunday for a called business session on June 24th to extend a call to Bro. Zac to join the Ministry Staff of Bells First Baptist Church in full-time ministry. Details will be in your Sunday bulletin, giving you sufficient time to review and pray through to the Lord’s will!
Our cake auction produced over $3,000 for the Youth Mission Trip to Birmingham. Bro. Zac has done an excellent job of planning this significant ministry!
Remember, everything we do matters for the Kingdom of God! You’ll be glad you were faithful, and others will be blessed!
