What are my expectations for my Christianity? Each day I am faced with decisions and opportunities to fulfill those expectations. You and I are followers of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! We are believers in The Way!
Personal commitment to Him influences every word I say, every thought I think and every action I make. Sometimes we fail to live up to these very high expectations. The goodness of God has provided forgiveness to us, restoration and usefulness in His service. Each of us needs this wonderful gift of God!
God has great expectations for each one of us. Jesus said, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by me.’ If we are to reach these God designed expectations, we must pattern our lives after the life of Jesus, Who did everything well! Then we must internalize His ways so they become OUR ways.
Wednesday evening I will be sharing the expectations we should have for a Pastor. I am going to explain the different kinds of Pastoral Leaders (several, though not likely, all of them). I have identified at least six kinds. One of these is likely to become your Pastor.
Remember, everything we do matters for the Kingdom of God! You’ll be glad you were faithful, and others will be blessed!
