Bible School has begun with a terrific start with a fine group of children attended by helpful teens and a host of adults!

There were some new faces, new music, and a lesson trail ‘In the Wild’ that will help each of us know more about Jesus!

Use the remaining days to encourage your neighbors’ kids to show up at 6 p.m. through Thursday evening. Remind them that there will be an ‘Ice Cream Fellowship’ at the close of Thursday’s  Bible School!!! (After a few hot days, ice cream sounds wonderful!)

Thanks to those who came Saturday to work at the Pastorium. There’s still a great deal to be done. Other work days may be necessary, so be ready to come and work again!

Remember to be in prayer for your prospective Pastor and his family as they come this weekend under consideration for a call. They are praying as well for the Lord to be clear to them!

Saturday evening from 6-8 you will have an opportunity to fellowship around the table and have a Q and A time with the family. Sunday morning, a breakfast ‘Meet and Greet’ will take place at 8-9. Then the Morning Worship will be at 10 a.m. He will preach in the morning service followed by a church vote concerning the call. Come prayerfully on this most important event!

On Sunday evening, our Deacons will meet at 5 p.m., followed by 6 Fellowship and 6:30 Business Meeting. This had to be changed to accommodate our Bible School the first Sunday evening.

Our President went to McLean Bible Church, Virginia Beach, VA this past Sunday morning, where Pastor David Platt, former President of the SBC International Mission Board prayed for him as a response to the call for prayer on that day. His prayer was filled with the Gospel and praise for the King of Kings.

Pray also for many members of our fellowship who are in various situations of need; physical, spiritual, financial, and family, right now!

“Nothing Routine in Twenty Nineteen!”

I remain grateful to serve with you!
