Many hundreds of law enforcement personnel have descended on West Tennessee from all over the United States to honor Tennessee Highway Patrolman Matt Gatti. We certainly continue to pray for Officer Gatti’s family in this tragic loss. Every day, our officials put their lives on the line for the safety of our communities. Be certain to say a word of thanks or praise to them as you are able.
VBS workers are needed!!! Just how important this is will one day be on display in Heaven! As we live with Jesus Christ in Heaven someday, it will become apparent just how many people exercised faith in Christ during VBS! It will be one of the wonderful stories told on the ‘other side’ how we came to know Jesus Christ!
Let’s do our part in helping some child see their need for Christ!

Mother’s Day was a precious time this Sunday morning. It was nice to see so many of our sweet ladies enjoying having their children or grandchildren with them to worship the Lord!
After Wednesday’s Baccalaureate, our High Schools seniors will graduate this Friday evening at 7 p.m. Pray for them in their future endeavors as they make plans to follow the Lord’s directions for their lives.
This coming Sunday, May 19, we will continue toward completion of ‘The Fruit of the Spirit’ with a focus on MEEKNESS! The final message in the series will be on TEMPERANCE on Sunday, May 26!
