Life is filled with surprises, disappointments, treasures, joy, and many other points of experience! Yesterday held some wonderful joys of seeing our young people standing at the front on the way to major changes in their lives. Even as they stood before us in the church, let us stand before the Lord on their behalf daily!
As the Church moves into the summer just ahead, please remember that our children and our Church need VBS! We need it because VBS gives the fellowship the best opportunity to present the Gospel to young receptive hearts! Many of the children who will attend our Bible School are not in regular attendance in any church.
They do not hear the Gospel preached or taught consistently. They do not join others to sing hymns nor praise songs. Our VBS at Bells FBC affords them Bible teaching and Scriptural singing that can stay in their hearts and minds for years to come!
Your opportunity to volunteer is right now. Please send a note to the Church office or make a call to 663-3273 and let us know you will be a helper or teacher in VBS!!!
There was a sweet Spirit in our service Sunday morning. Many precious moments come to mind. My prayer for the Body is that the “Word of Christ would dwell in you richly in all wisdom!”
Join with us Wednesday evening for worship and praise and then, next Sunday morning, May 12, we will honor our Mothers on Mothers Day. The following Sunday, May 19, we will continue toward completion of ‘The Fruit of the Spirit’ with a focus on MEEKNESS!
