It is so wonderful to spend quality time with family! Our visit to East Tennessee was a great blessing!! Sunday we visited at Tusculum Baptist Church where Zachary is Worship Pastor. Both of their morning services were enjoyable and worshipful and so different! The first service was hymnal and traditional Baptist orientation. That was followed by Bible Study time for all groups. Then, the second service was in the lower building with contemporary emphasis. Pastor David Smith shared a powerful and meaningful message in both services. We are so blessed to have been there!
As great as our time with family always has been, it was still great to come home. Bells is very much a significantly important part of my life and I truly missed being with you all! It was reassuring to know that Bro. Zac was in the pulpit! Once again, good reports on the worship and preaching from several people! Thanks, Bro. Zac, for utilizing your gifts in the Word with the Good Church in Bells!
I’m anticipating a new stage of ministry with our first regular Outreach Evening this Tuesday (April 2) at 6:30 p.m. Tonya, Bro. Zac and I reviewed visitation assignment sheets on Monday to provide opportunities for our Outreach Teams. Please be in prayer for this segment of our Church’s forward direction and your part in the Outreach Ministry!
Front door, back door outreach! Open the front door by bringing people in for worship, fellowship, and ministry. Close the back door by providing caring ministry through Family Ministry, Outreach, and Fellowship.
Soon we will have additional Bible Study Small Group (Sunday School) training which will help our Bible Study groups give greater emphasis on bringing others into healthy Bible study units which encourage attendance and growth.
Each of these steps seem to move slowly, but their implementation is intended to develop stable and long term growth of our Church!
I truly look forward to worshipping with you this Wednesday studying Haggai, and on Sunday, examining another fruit of the Spirit, ’goodness’.
“Nothing Routine in Twenty Nineteen!”
I remain grateful to serve with you!
Bro. Wayne
