Another good Sunday! Music, worship, Bible Study. Thankful for the addition of Betty Perkins to our fellowship! There will be others coming to our Church family. Pray for them ahead of time. The Lord already knows them!
Our Youth and Leadership will leave Friday for a Strength to Stand Conference in East Tennessee. Pray for their safety and spiritual growth as they attend sessions, bond as a team, and grow in their spiritual awareness.
Next Sunday will be our next to the last in our Series on Jesus. We will consider the Coming of the Lord! Our final in the series will be the first Sunday of February when we will speak on being with Jesus for all Eternity!
Wednesday evening I will begin a series on the Prophetic books considered The Minor Prophets. Nothing very ‘minor’ about any of them, but the length of their writings and the shorter terms of their prophetic office lends to the title ‘minor’. This Wednesday we will review Hosea.
Please be in prayer about our Outreach ministries. There are so many ways to do outreach; the first being your personal efforts to reach lives around you. At home, work, school, the post office, grocery store, next door, and many, many more! You can speak a good word for the Lord and your Church anywhere!
Another effort of our fellowship is our Visitation ministry. We will be collecting information for outreach prospects for simple visits and invitations to attend. This will likely begin in February and will occur twice each month.
A Second Inreach effort will be our Deacon Family Ministry Plan. This will be a very important and pivotal ministry which will undergird the health of our fellowship. Pray for our Deacons as they begin this wonderful phase of their ministry!
A most important step in Outreach is our Evangelism effort. This is called Faith Evangelism. This training will outfit a group of our members to carry out one on one evangelism, leading lost people to become saved people and helping them to become disciples of Christ.
A fourth phase of our growth efforts will be Sunday School equipping ministry through Growth Spiral for Sunday School. We will be better equipped to expand our Sunday School and teach more people about Jesus!
Pray about your part. This is a very important time in the life of our church!
It’s hard to believe, but it’s 2019! “Nothing Routine in Twenty Nineteen!”
I remain grateful to serve with you!
