It is difficult to describe this Pastor’s heart about the blessing of worshipping the Lord together this past Sunday. Worship music and our Choir were wonderful! Our Prayer Focus was clear, and a blessing!! Joely’s Dedication was so precious and meaningful! The message was direct. Presenting Bro. Zac’s Certificate of License was an encouragement to us all! The Lord’s Supper took us into the Presence of Christ! We closed with worshipful singing! The one way the service could have been improved is that one soul may have been saved. Perhaps that commitment was made before the Lord! Thank you for letting me be a part!
Each week we have been sharing brief series on Wednesdays, the first of which was Six Critical Matters for a Thriving Church. Then we studied the Seven Signs (Miracles) of John. After that we reviewed the Hard Sayings of Christ, then Christian Biblical Baptist Essentials.
We have covered Types of Pastoral Leadership, Heaven- The Center of God’s Power and Presence, Leaders of the Church and this past Wednesday, The Need for Immediate Forgiveness.
Next Wednesday we will study about Angels, or Angelology. There will be many things about angels that many people have missed, (all of which are found in the Bible). Hopefully, we’ll learn things together about Angels. These powerful created beings, of which there are different kinds, will be an intriguing subject. Please be in attendance for this interesting Biblical review of these unique servants of God.
A lot will be happening over the next few weeks. We need to be ‘prayed up’ for the kinds of decisions which we will be making as a church. Each individual should truly seek the Lord to know His Will and His alone!
