How can I say thanks for the things He has done for me?! So began our congregational singing Sunday! What a powerful worship time with emphasis on the Christian virtue of moderation, setting apart our young people for ministry in Birmingham, voting in Bro. Zac Hannaford as Pastor to Students, and observing the Lord’s Supper!!!

It created a great stir in my heart for the power of Christians gathering to honor the Lord and worship at His feet! My prayer is that you were blessed, encouraged, motivated and inspired to serve God more fervently, honestly, openly, and constantly!

This Sunday we will observe Religious Liberty in hand with national Liberty. I do not believe you can have one without the other. Individual freedom cannot exist without the presence of God. Jesus said, “I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly!”

New life in Christ produces freedom which most in the world do not know. New life in Christ produces peace which most in the world do not know.

Let’s celebrate this coming Independence Day with a renewed awareness that Jesus makes freedom possible. John 8:36 “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Freedom without question. Freedom without doubt. Freedom with only Divine restraints that become innate in us when we are born again and indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

Pray for our youth on their mission. Pray for your Pastor Search Committee. Pray for the Leadership Team. Pray for one another!

Let’s enjoy the fellowship after Sunday morning worship and go away to celebrate Independence from tyranny, sin, and Satan! May we also increase our Dependence on God!!!

Remember, everything we do matters for the Kingdom of God! You’ll be glad you were faithful, and others will be blessed!

Happy to be,

Servant of Christ and His Church at Bells,

Bro. Wayne
