What makes a church attractive to a newcomer to a community? New facilities? Proximity? Lots of activities? Active fellowship? To be sure, these things attract people on a first time basis.
But, the things which keep people coming are what they find when they get inside! Sweet fellowship! Christian love for one another! Encouragement! Non-judgmentalism! More specifically, people judge us whether we judge them or not! We are constantly under the watchful eye of a world that doesn’t know our Savior.
They will learn about our Jesus through our own actions, words and attitudes! Let’s reflect these in all our lives!
Is the church moving forward? What does that mean? More people? Changed lives? Souls saved? Unified spirit? Vision focused? Though we may clearly see all these things within the Church, not all of these things are noticed by the community outside the Church.
Some of them are hard not to notice! We want the world to know who our Savior is and what He means to us. After all, He is at the center of all these ‘things’ we’ve been talking about! Tell the neighbors about Jesus
Remember, everything we do matters for the Kingdom of God! You’ll be glad you were faithful, and others will be blessed!
