Church, you are to be commended for your participation and support for Family and Friends Day! We had a strong attendance and the fellowship time was wonderful! Heartfelt thanks to Tonya and Roger Kirkland for preparing the food, for Tammy Baird, Jerry & Martha Baggett, Cody Green, Braylin Johnson, and Bro. Zac for setting up all the tables and Opal Woodson for helping with the decorations! Thank you all for inviting people to come to worship the Lord.
This Sunday, we will recognize our 2018 graduates! They are an accomplished group! We are all proud of them and look forward to hearing of the wonderful things ahead in their lives. Further, we will pray diligently for their future lives in the Kingdom of God. It is there they will enjoy their greatest satisfaction in life!
Bible School is only a month and a few days away!!! What will you be doing to invest in the lives of children and youth?! Teachers and staff are being assembled and materials are soon available for their use. Please volunteer to help make a difference in children’s lives!
Our biggest step in bringing children to the Bells FBC Vacation Bible School is getting the word to the children and their families! This will be done by providing information for children to take home to families!
May 6, as we celebrate our Graduates, we will focus on the Christian virtue of Hope. Surely this is appropriate for our students as well as the rest of us.
The following Sunday, May 13, we will enjoy Mother’s Day! On that Sunday we will honor our Mothers and focus on the Christian virtue of Love!
Remember, everything we do matters for the Kingdom of God! You’ll be glad you were faithful, and others will be blessed!
