If I were to give a title to thisarticle it would be “Thank You – Thank You – Thank You”.

“Thank You” first of all to my wife. My birthday is in mid-October and the main thing I always ask for is a three day trip for rest and relaxation. Louise never knows what to expect because I pick out someplace I have never visited and make all of the plans. This year we went to Marion, KY. It is about three hours north of here and in the perfect center of nowhere.

Their Chamber of Commerce could not honestly recommend any of the motels in town! But, I was determined, so I found a Bed and Breakfast which the owner described as “a work in progress”. She is a very honest lady! But, as always Louise went along with my birthday wish and made the best of it. We did get to see some pretty leaves, some Amish crafts and DESSERTS, along with a small Christmas arts and crafts show.

“Thank You” also goes out to our family and friends. You are always so generous with your birthday gifts, cakes, cards, and calls. My first present arrived five days before my birthday and I know of one more which is still on the way, five days after my birthday. I am blessed!

“Thank You” to my faith family here at Bells First Baptist. October is also “Pastor Appreciation Month” and you always let me know that I am appreciated. Thank you for the kind words, beautiful card, love offering, and even the pumpkin!

I am blessed! It is no wonder that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because October always reminds me of how many blessings I do have.

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” – Phil. 1:3.

Blessings,
