Our prayers are with Gerry and Faith Brown in the loss of their grandson, Wesley McCall. Further, we are prayerful for all the family of Wesley, including his siblings, his parents, grandparents and extended family and friends.
Many things take place in this life for which we may have a lot of questions. I am contented that God knows every concern I may have about all the things that take place in my life. As well, He is able to answer these questions. Most of these are answered by some of the great spiritual wisdom I find in the Bible.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:’
– II Peter 1:3
Even as he provides ‘all things’ unto you and me, we must grasp these ‘things’ and allow them to benefit all we believe and do. This applies to those things we do for others and for our Lord. Whether we consider things ‘good’ or ‘bad’, Paul wonderfully said, ‘And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.’
God has some good for your life out of every adversity!
Sunday, we will share about the seventh of the Seven Deadly Sins, ‘Anger- the Killer!’ Please be faithful to attend and bring another with you!
